I offer individual, family and couples counseling.  A free, initial consultation will help determine if my services are right for you. 

My eclectic and humanistic approach honors each client's unique perspective and inherent capacity for growth. Drawing from client-centered principles, I believe you are the expert on your own self and relationships. My role is to create a warm, accepting environment where you feel genuinely heard and valued, facilitating the natural healing process that emerges when people feel truly understood.

Please note that coverage varies by specific plan. I recommend contacting your insurance provider to verify your mental health benefits, including copay amounts, deductible requirements, and any prior authorization needs.

Out of Network Benefits:

If your insurance plan is not listed above, you may still have out-of-network mental health benefits. I can provide you with a detailed receipt (superbill) that you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement.

Fees:

45 minute session: $150

55 minute session: $170

90 minute session: $200

24 hour notification of cancellation is required. There is a $75 fee not billable to insurance for any no show or cancellation with less than 24 hour notice. Violation of this policy may result in being discharged from services.

All of our communication becomes part of the clinical record, which is accessible to you upon request. I will keep confidential anything you say as part of our counseling relationship, with the following exceptions: (a) you direct me in writing to disclose information to someone else, (b) it is determined you are a danger to yourself or others (including child or elder abuse), or (c) I am ordered by a court to disclose information utilized.  

The duration of therapy sessions at MMS Counseling is typically 55 minutes. There are times when 45 or 90 minute sessions are utilized.  Group sessions are longer in length. 

I offer both! I am available for in-person sessions Monday and Wednesday, with virtual appointments available Monday thru Thursday.
