Therapy That Is Personalized, Compassionate, and Solution-Focused Therapy That Is Personalized, Compassionate, and Solution-Focused Therapy That Is Personalized, Compassionate, and Solution-Focused

Sessions Based in Plymouth, MI and Virtually Throughout Michigan

Specializing in couples therapy and coping skills

Finding help during distress can feel overwhelming, but ultimately it is empowering. You are stronger than you think. The opportunities for real change are opened when there is humility and a deep desire to heal. Each client needs to work at their own pace and manner, but intent for growth is key. Reaching fulfillment and recognizing self-worth looks different for everyone, but it is an exciting process to experience. Finding joy in witnessing that growth is a core reason I became a therapist and I continue to be amazed by the strength and resilience of the individuals I work with.

Each of us is deserving of acceptance, respect and inner peace. Attaining these things can be messy and difficult, and as your therapist my role is to walk with you to the other side. It is a gift and honor to spend time with individuals, forming unique relationships as we work towards solutions that empower and improve quality of life.

Couples Therapy

Couples Therapy

Relationships rarely see zero conflict in their time. An objective party can help both of you identify and communicate your needs. Discovering how to coexist with someone is complicated, and learning even a few tools can make it much easier.

Coping Skills

Couples Therapy

Couples Therapy

When we're under stress we often begin coping in different ways. Our inclinations, however, are rarely helpful and healthy from the beginning. By learning new coping skills we can get through the most difficult moments and maintain control of our behavior.

Specialties

Codependency and Relationship Disputes

Are you finding yourself lost in your relationships, constantly prioritizing others' needs while neglecting your own? Do recurring conflicts with loved ones leave you feeling drained and disconnected? I specialize in helping individuals and couples navigate the complex dynamics of codependency and relationship challenges.

In our work together, we'll explore the patterns that keep you stuck—whether that's difficulty setting boundaries, fear of abandonment, or cycles of conflict that seem impossible to break. I provide a compassionate, non-judgmental space where you can develop healthier ways of relating to others while reconnecting with your own authentic self.

Through evidence-based approaches tailored to your unique situation, we'll work on building essential skills like effective communication, boundary-setting, and emotional regulation. You'll learn to distinguish between caring for others and losing yourself in the process, and discover how to create relationships that are both deeply connected and individually fulfilling.

Whether you're struggling with codependent patterns, navigating ongoing relationship disputes, or simply wanting to build stronger, more balanced connections, I'm here to support your journey toward healthier relationships and greater self-awareness. Together, we can transform the way you show up in your relationships—with others and with yourself.

Anger Management

When anger disrupts your relationships and daily life, it's time to develop healthier ways of responding. While intense anger can feel overwhelming and automatic, you have more control than you might realize. Through proven therapeutic techniques, you can learn to recognize your anger triggers, understand what's driving these emotions, and develop practical strategies to express yourself constructively.

Effective anger management isn't about suppressing your feelings—it's about transforming them into productive responses that strengthen rather than damage your connections with others. This process not only protects your relationships but also frees you from the exhausting cycle of rage and regret that leaves you feeling depleted and disconnected.

With the right support and tools, you can move from feeling controlled by your anger to feeling empowered in how you handle difficult emotions and challenging situations.

Nervous System Regulation

Mindfulness, breathing, and exercises will help reset your body and mind therefore

When your nervous system becomes dysregulated, your body and mind can feel stuck in patterns of stress, anxiety, or overwhelm. Through evidence-based techniques including mindfulness practices, intentional breathing work, and targeted somatic exercises, we can help your nervous system return to a state of calm and balance.

These approaches work by activating your body's natural relaxation response, allowing chronic tension to release and creating space for new, healthier thought patterns to emerge. Rather than simply managing symptoms, nervous system regulation addresses the root physiological processes that drive stress responses, helping you develop greater resilience and emotional flexibility.

Together, we'll explore personalized strategies that teach your body how to shift from states of hypervigilance or shutdown back into connection and presence. This foundational work creates the optimal conditions for healing, growth, and lasting change in therapy.

Life Transitions

Life transitions—whether it's the loss of a loved one, relocating to a new place, going through divorce, becoming an empty nester, entering retirement, or facing any other significant change—can leave us feeling unmoored and uncertain. Even positive transitions can bring unexpected challenges and emotional complexity.

During these pivotal moments, it's completely normal to feel overwhelmed as you adjust to your new reality. You don't have to navigate this journey alone. Together, we can help you find your footing, develop coping strategies, and discover new sources of meaning and stability as you move forward.

Executive Function Management

Do big goals feel overwhelming or impossible to break down? You're not alone. Executive function challenges—particularly common among neurodivergent individuals—can make it difficult to plan, prioritize, and follow through on the things that matter most to you.

Executive function encompasses the mental skills that help us organize thoughts, manage time, and create actionable steps toward our goals. When these skills don't come naturally, even important aspirations can feel frustratingly out of reach.

In our work together, we'll transform those distant dreams into concrete, manageable steps. We'll develop personalized strategies that work with your unique brain, not against it. I'll provide the structure and accountability you need while helping you discover your own remarkable capabilities. You'll learn practical tools for organization, time management, and goal achievement that you can use long after our sessions end.

Family Conflicts and Career Stressors

Work and family responsibilities represent the core of most people's daily lives, and when challenges arise in either area, they can quickly overwhelm our sense of balance. I help clients develop practical strategies to manage competing demands, reduce stress, and create sustainable approaches to both professional and personal relationships. Together, we'll identify what's truly important to you and build skills to navigate conflicts with greater confidence and clarity
